The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) will host a free Alzheimer’s disease educational program (“Understanding the Path of the Wander”) on Long Island on Tuesday, September 17th, from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm at the Bank of America Building in Melville, NY. Participants will learn about Alzheimer’s disease, how to identify the common causes of wandering, behaviors which may indicate greater risks, and how to reduce the chances of wandering and enhance safety.
Free memory screenings will also be available.
Registration is free and open to all. Continuing education credit is available for
